Information tracks for sports events
For the 2017‐18 season, Grandvalira is once again making history by hosting a series of top‐level sporting competitions and major international events.
As a result of this extremely busy schedule, we are informing our customers that the slopes that are to be used for these competitions will be temporarily closed to the public.
Below is a list of the slopes and snow parks affected:
Àliga slope (El Tarter)
Closed from 11 to 18 March for the 2018 FIS European Cup Finals.
Esparver slope (El Tarter)
Partially closed until 10.00 a.m. from 11 to 17 March in order to allow practice for the 2018 FIS European Cup Finals.
Avet slope (Soldeu)
Closed from 12 to 17 March for the 2018 FIS European Cup Finals.
Slalom slope (Soldeu)
Partially closed until 2.00 p.m. from 12 to 17 March in order to allow practice for the 2018 FIS European Cup Finals.
El Tarter snow park (El Tarter)
Partially closed from 12 to 25 March for the 2018 Total Fight Masters of Freestyle.
The upper section of the park, with its rails and box lines, will remain open, as will the beginners’ line in the lower section. Additionally, the Big Air line will be equipped with rails and jumps of different sizes.
Riberal slope (Grau Roig)
Closed from 30 March to 7 April for the 2018 Speed Skiing World Cup Finals.
