Opening ceremony

On Friday 30 January, at 6.30 pm, the opening ceremony will take place at Illa Carlemany Shopping Centre. This festive event will mark the official kick-off of the championships and will feature a parade of qualified riders, special entertainment, giveaways and audience activations, as well as an autograph signing session.

A celebration designed to connect sport, place and fans in a welcoming, dynamic and participatory atmosphere.

Ski test

Equipment test

During the weekend when the FIS Freeride World Championships are scheduled to take place, attendees will have the chance to try the latest models of skis and snowboards from several specialized brands.
The brands will have an exclusive open area in El Hortell, set up specifically for equipment testing.

Participation requirements

  • Be at least 16 years old (minors must be accompanied by an adult).
  • Have valid accident insurance.
  • Present the Grandvalira Resorts ski pass.
  • Show a photo ID or passport.
  • Bring your own boots and helmet.

Official après-ski party of the World Championships at Elevation 1,300

The same Saturday afternoon, starting at 4:30 p.m., the official après-ski party of the World Championships at Altitude 1,300 will be held in the Closa de Ordino square. An ideal meeting point to keep enjoying the festive atmosphere after a day of skiing.
