Opening ceremony
On Friday 30 January, at 6.30 pm, the opening ceremony will take place at Illa Carlemany Shopping Centre. This festive event will mark the official kick-off of the championships and will feature a parade of qualified riders, special entertainment, giveaways and audience activations, as well as an autograph signing session.
A celebration designed to connect sport, place and fans in a welcoming, dynamic and participatory atmosphere.
Ski-test
Dates January 31 and February 1
Area El Hortell
Opening hours from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
Featured brands: Mammut, Head, Candide Skis, Dynastar, Rossignol and many more.
Equipment test
During the weekend when the FIS Freeride World Championships are scheduled to take place, attendees will have the opportunity to test the latest ski and snowboard models from a selection of specialised brands.
An exclusive open test area will be set up in El Hortell, specifically designed for equipment testing.
Participation requirements
- Be at least 16 years old (minors must be accompanied by an adult).
- Have valid accident insurance.
- Present a Grandvalira Resorts ski pass.
- Show a valid ID or passport.
- Bring your own boots and helmet.
