THE WORLD'S FREERIDE ELITE COMES TO ORDINO ARCALÍS
Ordino Arcalís will once again become the heart of the international freeride scene as it hosts the FIS Freeride World Championships 2026, bringing together the world’s best athletes in this extreme discipline.
This edition will feature 66 riders from 17 countries, competing on one of the most technical and stunning stages on the tour, across four official categories:

These athletes have been selected for their performance, consistency and style in the Freeride World Tour and Freeride World Qualifier series. This world championship promises to be one of the most thrilling in recent years, due to both the riders’ skill and the challenging terrain of Andorra.

JOAN ARACIL: THE LOCAL RIDER OF ANDORRA
With great pride, Joan Aracil will represent Andorra at the FIS Freeride World Championships 2026, thanks to a wildcard granted to the host nation.
Joan is a seasoned freeride skier with a strong record on the European tour. Known for his aggressive style, flow and ability to navigate complex terrain, his selection is both a recognition of his talent and a unique chance to compete at home in front of the world’s best.
His presence will be closely followed by local fans and establishes him as a key figure in Andorra’s freeride scene on the international stage.
